The Pro-Series is Traveler Guitar’s first instrument and remains a standard of innovation and design for travel guitars. Featuring a custom piezo pickup and a single-coil electric pickup, its 24 ¾” scale neck-through body sounds great through acoustic and electric amplifiers, or through its unique internal resonant pickup system with the included stethophone headset, which allows for private listening without batteries or an amp.

Q: Are special strings needed for the Pro-Series guitar?
A: No. Any conventional guitar string you chose will work. The Pro-Series comes equipped with D’Addario EJ15 Phosphor Bronze Round Wound Extra Light Acoustic Strings.
Q: Can I place a strap on my guitar?
A: Yes, each guitar comes with an extra thumbscrew that doubles as a strap pin.
Q: Does the guitar have a truss-rod?
A: Yes, the Pro-Series has a fully adjustable vintage style truss rod, with easy access through the end cap.
Q: Are Batteries needed to operate the “Stethophones”?
A: No, the stethophones work without batteries, using the same physics as a doctor’s stethoscope.
Q: Can the Pro-Series plug into any of my amps?
A: Yes, the Pro-Series has a standard 1/4” output jack on the lap rest for connecting to an amplifier. Volume and tone controls as well as a pickup selector (single coil/blend/piezo) are located on the lap rest.
Q: Is the body and neck a solid piece of wood?
A: Yes, each Pro-Series is made from one piece of Eastern American Hard Maple with neck-thru-body.
Q: How is the lap rest attached to the body?
A: The lap rest is held on by a solid brass thumbscrew and support pin. The thumbscrew makes it easy to attach and detach the leg-rest from the body.
Q: What kinds of pick-ups are installed in the Pro-Series?
A: The Pro-Series comes with a standard single coil electric pickup in the bridge position and a Shadow acoustic piezo pickup under the saddle. You can switch between the electric and the acoustic pickups, or select both pickups at the same time and blend them together for a wide variety of tones.
Q: Is the Pro-Series a full-scale guitar?
A: Yes, the Pro-Series is a full 24 3/4″ scale guitar with 22 frets and 2-inch string spacing at the saddle.

A: The Pro-Series comes with a gig bag, Stethophone headset, thumb screw for strap attachment, Allen wrench for adjusting Stethophone, truss-rod wrench, owner’s manual and warranty card.
