It includes an onboard Pocket Rock-it headphone amp with distortion & clean tones so you can plug your headphones directly into the guitar. Also features a 1/8″ aux-in jack so you can jam along with your mp3 player. Co-designed by John Carruthers, the EG-1 Mahogany also boasts more traditional guitar features such as an African Mahogany bolt-on neck & body with an ebonized rosewood fretboard. With a full-size humbucker pickup and 22 jumbo frets, you’ll forget you’re playing a travel guitar!

A: No, any conventional guitar strings you choose will work. The EG-1 comes with D’Addario EXL110 Nickel plated Steel Round Wound Regular Light Electric Strings.
Q: Can I place a strap on my guitar?
A: Yes, the EG-1 is equipped with two standard strap pins.
Q: Does the guitar have a truss-rod?
A: Yes, the EG-1 has a fully adjustable truss rod with easy access through the end cap.
Q: Like the Traveler Pro Series, does the EG-1 have “Stethophones” or any personal listening device?
A: The EG-1 is equipped with a built in headphone amplifier from Pocket Rock-It for private listening.
Q: Are batteries needed to operate the headphones?
A: Yes, the preamp/headphone amp is powered by a 9-volt battery.
Q: Can the EG-1 plug into any of my amps?
A: Yes. In addition to its 1/8” headphone jack and 1/8” aux-in port, the EG-1 has a standard 1/4” output that is used when wanting to amplify your guitar. The Pocket Rock-It’s effects can also be used through your own amplifier. NOTE: When not in use, please remember to turn the Pocket Rock-It headphone amplifier into the off position so that no battery power is wasted.
Q: Are the body and neck one solid piece of wood?
A: No, the Traveler EG-1′s body is made of alder with a bolt-on maple neck.
