The Traveler EG-1 Vintage Gold is a full-scale electric guitar featuring a compact single-cutaway body shape that provides vintage looks and modern comfort to the traveling guitarist. With crown inlays, gold bell knobs, a chrome-covered humbucker with cream pickup ring and its Vintage Gold finish, this travel guitar looks and feels like a travel-sized version of a timeless instrument. In addition, it is the first guitar in Traveler’s EG-1 family to feature a 24-3/4″ scale length.
Weighing in at just 4 pounds and measuring only 28 5/8″ long, the EG-1 electric guitar is an ideal carry-on guitar that stows easily in airline overhead compartments. The EG-1′s built-in Pocket RockIt headphone amp is custom-designed to produce classic clean and distortion sounds through headphones or when plugged into an amplifier. Players can also go passive into their amp of choice. The Traveler EG-1′s onboard electronics include a 1/8″ AUX IN jack so players can jam with tracks from an external device such as an MP3 or CD player.
The Traveler EG-1 also boasts more traditional guitar features such as a mahogany body and neck, ebonized rosewood fretboard, standard strap pins and a fully adjustable truss rod. Includes deluxe gig bag and comes standard with D’Addario EXL-110 strings.

A: No, any conventional guitar strings you choose will work. The EG-1 Vintage comes with D’Addario EXL110 Nickel plated Steel Round Wound Regular Light Electric Strings.

A: Yes, the EG-1 Vintage is equipped with two standard strap pins.
Q: Does the guitar have a truss-rod?
A: Yes, the EG-1 Vintage has a fully adjustable truss rod with easy access through the end cap.
Q: Like the Pro-Series, does the EG-1 Vintage have “Stethophones” or any personal listening device?
A: The EG-1 Vintage is equipped with a built in headphone amplifier from Pocket Rock-It for private listening.
Q: Are batteries needed to operate the headphones?
A: Yes, the preamp/headphone amp is powered by a 9-volt battery. NOTE: When not in use, please remember to turn the Pocket Rock-It headphone amplifier into the off position so that no battery power is wasted.
Q: Can the EG-1 Vintage plug into any of my amps?
A: Yes. In addition to its 1/8” headphone jack and 1/8” aux-in port, the EG-1 Vintage has a standard 1/4” output jack for plugging into an amp or external recording device. The Pocket Rock-It headphone amplifier’s effects can also be used through an external amp.
