In addition, the Speedster Hot Rod is loaded with a 1/8” inch aux-in jack so players can plug in an mp3 player and jam along to their favorite songs. The final touch: a sleek racing stripe underlining the new Hot Rod logo. The Speedster Hot Rod fits neatly inside its included gig bag and stows easily in airline overhead compartments.

A: No. Any conventional electric guitar strings you chose will work. The Speedster Hot Rod comes equipped with D’Addario EXL110 Nickel plated Steel Round Wound Regular Light Electric Strings.

A: Yes, the upper arm support can be removed and stowed in the included gig bag’s pouch for travel.

Q: How is the upper arm support attached to the body?
A: The upper arm support is held on by a solid brass thumbscrew and support pin. The thumbscrew makes it easy to attach and detach the upper arm support from the body; no tools are needed.

Q: Can I put a strap on my guitar?
A: Yes, the Speedster Hot Rod is fully capable of accommodating a strap by means of a strap pin and the upper arm support thumbscrew that doubles as the rear strap pin.

Q: Does the guitar have a truss-rod?
A: Yes, the Speedster Hot Rod has a fully adjustable truss rod, with easy access through the end cap.
