Improve tuning stability and make restringing a breeze with Traveler Guitar® Locking Tuning Machines.
These 3-a-side sealed locking tuners use a threaded pin mechanism to lock the string in place when installing new strings, making restrings much quicker and easier. They also allow strings to be cut very close to the post, reducing any sharp, protruding string ends.
Built to be a drop-in replacement to the existing tuning machines on many existing Traveler Guitar® models including:
Ultra-Light Acoustic*, Ultra-Light Electric*, Ultra-Light Lefty*, Pro-Series, Pro-Series Mod-X, Speedster Series, EG-1 Series, EG-2 Series, Escape Mark III** and Travelcaster Deluxe guitars.
These tuning machines can also work on other guitars which use a single pin mounting style, but check your guitar specifications to be sure.
*Some Traveler Guitar® models feature double mounting pins. These guitars need a slight modification to accommodate our locking tuners. If your Traveler Guitar® has tuning machines with a single mounting pin, these will be a direct swap.
**The Locking Tuners are a direct replacement on the Mark III Mahogany (black tuners with single mounting pins) but NOT on the Mark III Alder (chrome tuners with double mounting pins). They are NOT compatible with the Mark III Nylon.
Traveler Guitar® Locking Tuning Machines are not designed to be used with nylon stringed or bass guitars.

We ship Monday through Friday from our Southern California headquarters. Orders placed by 1pm California time Monday through Friday will ship the same day.

"I have had the Traveller Ultra-Light Electric Guitar for several years and absolutely love it. My only issue was tuning stability. I decided to upgrade to locking tuners and figured the Traveller brand would be a simple swap out with the old tuners, since it was their part going on their guitar. In a word: nope. The old tuners had dual stabilization pegs under the bottom, the new locking tuners had a single peg, and one not aligned with any of the previous holes. This required me to drill a new hole so the peg would go into the guitar properly. What should have been a quick swap out of parts was instead a longer and more in depth project. Once installed, I have had a much improved experience with tuning stability. The tuners are sturdy, easy to use and feel well made. I highly recommend using these over the standard tuners. Just beware you may not be able to simply swap out the old ones for the new ones."

"These are a must have. Makes changing strings ten times easier and quicker. The only issue is the strings tend to rub on the knurled locks."
