The Escape Mark III acoustic guitar features include a mahogany body with cutaway for high fret access, and a bolt-on mahogany neck. It has standard tuning machines and uses standard nylon strings, measures only 29 1/2" long, and is ready to play right out of the gig bag.

The Traveler Guitar® Escape Mark III Nylon guitar is 30% lighter and 46% thinner than a standard nylon-string classical guitar.
The Traveler Guitar® Escape Mark III Nylon guitar is full-scale, meaning it has the same playable area as a standard guitar. 25.5" scale length neck.
The Traveler Guitar® Escape Mark III Nylon guitar has built-in electronics with an active preamp which features a chromatic tuner, 2-band EQ and headphone output. Also features a standard 1/4" output.
The Traveler Guitar® Escape Mark III Nylon guitar features in-body tuning which uses standard tuning machines mounted in the body. Without a headstock, the guitar is much smaller and lighter. In-Body tuning also does not require special strings. Choose your favorite string.
The Traveler Guitar® Escape Mark III Nylon guitar features an active Shadow Nanoflex sensor pickup which is more sensitive and responsive than standard piezo bridge pickups.
The Traveler Guitar® Escape Mark III Nylon guitar includes a fitted gig bag for transport. It is only 31.5" long and weighs about 5.5 pounds when packed up.

Great AX

"I just tried this new MK3 Nylon through my busking and home rigs. It looks great, plays great and I consider it an excellent value. I have gotten both of the 1st 2 iterations of the Nylon Ultralight and enjoyed them with teachers, students, camping, etc. But the Mk3 is much more than just a learning aide or camping guitar. Count me a fan, Traveler, a steel string MK3 is somewhere in my future for sure. Plz xonsider making the MK3 shaped "acoustic" basses again, I will buy one.. Jc."
