Reviews

Love It!

"I love the body size as it replicates my full size Strats. I took it to a high end guitars shop to see if I could upgrade the pickups to genuine Fender ones. The Luther plugged it in for review purposes and loved the sound the stock pickups produced. He advised me to leave the stock pickups alone. They produced a hot signal with much versatility. He could've made an immediate sale! Getting on a plane was no problem at all. The build is sturdy enough to withstand the rigors of above compartment travel. I'm definitely going to purchase another one in a different color with a maple fingerboard!"

Good guitar

"One mod made, replaced stock tuners with locking tuners, look for 2 PIN international sized tuners, not fender, fenders are too big. I used these Genuine Tone Ninja 2-pin locking tuners 20:1, black, 3x3, ***www.ebay.***/itm/116536231636 no mod or drilling at all. one minor gripe, the balance of the guitar is funky to me, especially when using a strap. Tried a neck strap too, but didn't like it."

Mini tele. . . just the right size!

"I've been having so much trouble playing a regular sized guitar due to some issues in my neck, and as a result, I haven't played for about 3 years. I saw and ad for the Traveler guitars, and the Travelcaster deluxe looked like it might be a good option to enable me to play again. So far, so good! I can easily rotate the body of the guitar so I can turn the body a small rotation clockwise and then see the fretboard in my peripheral vision without having to turn my head too far off of center. Love the size of it, the look, and the feel of it when playing. So glad that I decided to order this - it's better than expected!!"

Great design

"Very impressed with the craftsmanship of this guitar. Takes some getting used to, since the body is not there to lean into, but a lot of fun to play. Came set up to my liking, shipped quickly, and comes with a very nice travel case."

Great travel guitar

"It plays great and easily fits in the overhead on a plane. I recommend."

Brian F. (5/5)

Love it. Just like one

"Love it. Just like one of my real Stratocasters"

2 great features of my Travelcaster thus far

"I have severe spinal scoliosis, so I cannot easily play a full size guitar. And most travel guitars have small spaces between the frets. As a singer/ song writer, this is a real disadvantage. The full size neck takes care of that. The tuning keys in the standard location is great. The sustain tremolo bar really works well. Because of my scoliosis, I cannot really use the single shoulder strap. It's a shame that the back pack style gig bag, with 2 straps, like the one for the Traveler Guitar Edge, is not an option. Is it possible to obtain one that would work for the Travelcaster?"

Hot damn! Travelcaster

"I ordered the Travelcaster Deluxe with locking tuners. I love it! I can leave my Stratocasters at home. The only thing I can think of to improve this would be some holes in the zippers on the case so that you could lock it with a small TSA padlock."

Great product

"I was totally knocked out with this guitar. I would recommend it to anyone."

Roscoe P. (5/5)

Great for a instructor

"Being that I have to take a guitar and bag full of instructing tools every day of giving lessons, this Travelcaster Deluxe guitar will work great. Considering the price point, the quality is very good. Thank you!"
