"I love it!"

Redlands Concert Koa Matte

"Yet another favorite guitar for me! This model has become my staple for gigging. I refer to them as 'little rockers'. They are the perfect size for me and hold up to hard playing. I have one in Mahogany, one in Spruce and now, one in Koa. I love them all."

T. G. (5/5)

Good guitar at its price point.

"The Koa Redlands Concert is a solid guitar which performs well enough as a practice or performance guitar for the non-discriminating ear. Not to be disparaging but candid, while evaluating from a head-on-head comparison with a Taylor GS Mini, which I also own. The Redlands Koa sounds good and is easy to play, especially for those with small hands. This guitar falls short in its tonality and its tunability - two characteristics which I have come, through experience, to regard as reliable indicators of quality and playability. I bought this instrument primarily because of the price point, and I'm not sorry that I did. Again, just be aware that you get what you pay for - this instrument cost me under $300 - not $3000, and on that basis, this purchase did not disappoint. Hope this is helpful."

I'm in love with this guitar!

"I'll be honest, the one thing that made me pull the trigger on this was because I'm from Redlands. Put after playing it for a little while I have to admit I'm in love with this guitar. It looks gorgeous, sounds great, and I really like the smaller size. I like this so much that I'm playing it more than my electric guitars. Initially, I didn't really care that it had a built-in tuner. But it comes in handy and is a really nice feature. It comes with a nice travel case too. You really get a lot out of this guitar for a good price, I couldn't be happier."

Beautiful

"Looks, great sounds great and I love the built in tuner and knobs."

Nice Looking but the Tone is Lacking

"This is definitely the prettiest guitar I own but also the worst sounding ( the others are Taylor and Michael Kelly). The Pros: Nice looking, arm rest, rounded edges, wood banding, portable, bone nut and wood bridge pins (I believe they are rosewood). The Cons: The strings are noisy when sliding my fingers, the neck needed straightening, some string buzzing (could be the strings or uneven frets), not a full sound, sounds kinda cheap (my Taylor GS Mini sounds better and is close to the same size). Can’t comment on the electronics as I haven’t plugged it in yet. If I didn’t get it on sale it would be sent back."

Great Little Guitar

"The workmanship is very good. All frets dressed well. I did need to sand down the saddle and the pickup underneath responded much better and it also helped with the action too. Plugged in you can get about whatever tone you would like. I would prefer a little wider neck at the nut (1.66) maybe 1.69-1.72 would be better, however, after playing for a few minutes my hands did adjust to the smaller neck. This will be great carry on an airplane and cruise ship vacations."

great travel guitar all around

"if you need a traveling companion but don’t wanna lug around your giant full size guitar, this is a perfect replacement. i’m a huge fan of how i can play this wherever and whenever. it’s excellent for hikes, car rides, air travel (never check a guitar, always put it in the overhead bin), and nights by the campfire. it also plugs in and sounds great at any venue big or small or any sound system. really great tone and fantastic depth and resonating. i would recommend this guitar to anyone who is traveling and wants to reduce their travel load! mahalo traveler guitars. y’all are the goats 🐐 x Penn 📍Big Island, Hawaii"
