Traveler Guitar is open Monday through Friday, from 9am - 4:30pm Pacific Time. We are closed Saturday and Sunday and all major holidays.

We ship Monday through Friday from our Southern California headquarters. Orders placed by 1pm California time Monday through Friday will ship the same day.

MK2 preamp

"I had bought a used MK2 and the jack started to make extra noises. So, I decided to get a new jack with the battery compartment. Wired that in and got no sound. I knew the pickup was not picking up the low E string like the other strings so, I bought a new one, installed it and still no sound. The only thing left to change was the preamp. Popped that in and now I have a great sounding MK2. It sounds new...because all the electronics are! Bottom line...if you are not afraid to solder in very small wires, this is doable and will improve the playability of your instrument. Have fun!"
